The locking mechanisms. The SR/SL101-SE(this listing) has a single spring loaded lock, which automatically secures the glass and bug screen in place when closed. The SR/SL101-SL models(upcoming new release) feature a VWD exclusive 2-Stage Flip Latch, which allows the user to securely open the window approximately 40mm (just over 1-1/2 inches) for airflow while preventing the glass from being fully opened.
